Suggesting Rhythm is a five-piece band out of Richmond, VA that recreates the music of The Grateful Dead with its own special charm and style. Celebrating 10 years as a band in 2025, the group consists of members Steve Barnard, Ed Bray, Adam Drudge, David Oakley, and Jeff Rothman. Founded in 2015, Suggesting Rhythm has continued to bring the music of the Grateful Dead to the RVA music scene and beyond, year after year, building a loyal fan base and delivering performances full of energy and soul.
