Boulder Blitz
Skilled climbers will compete head to head in a fast action race to the top. This high energy event will have spectators ooh-ing and ahh-ing!
Cost & Registration
This is an event for experienced climbers. Applications will open on Monday, February 10. Applications will close on Friday, March 28. 16 male and 16 female climbers will be accepted. There is NO onsite registration
Participants must be at least 14 years old to participate.
Opening Price: $40
Includes: a cool event t-shirt and a post-competition drink ticket*.
*Drink ticket must be used during normal festival hours
Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable, even in the case of a race cancellation and/or if you are unable to participate.
Competition Format
Competitors will start side by side competing on mirror-image routes to the top. Once the timer announces the start, the race is on.
Qualifiers will be a 2-round, 4-run event (one run on each side per round with a short 10-15 minute break between rounds). Competitors must complete at least 1 of 2 runs per round to be eligible for advancement. For qualifiers, the best time from Q1 and Q2 will be averaged to rank competitors. For finals, competitors must finish 1 of the 2 runs. The best run time from each round will be used to rank competitors.
Advancement:
Top 10 competitors will advance from qualifiers to Finals 1. Top 6 competitors will advance from Finals 1 to Finals 2.

Awards
Prize money will be awarded to the top climbers in each division.
