Garden Variety String Band is an award winning bluegrass band based in Richmond, VA.
Inspired by old time, folk, and bluegrass music, Garden Variety String Band performances are a nod to the past with a modern twist. The band was the winner of RVA Magazine’s Richmond Music of Right Now 2024 and 2025 Bluegrass, Ol’ Timey, and Folk Band Readers Poll.
The five-piece band consist of Wyatt Peake (Vocals/Fiddle), Charlie Rosser (Vocals/Guitar), DJ Roller (Vocals/Mandolin), Stephen Weinstock (Bass), and Ben Everhart (Banjo).
